In the family for many years, Seerys original tea-brack recipe remains a classic. This cake has its origins in rural Ireland dating back hundreds of years. Cold tea is now used to soak sultanas over a long period. The fruits absorb the tea and become plump and even more flavoursome.
At Seerys, we have been producing high quality cakes and award winning Christmas puddings for 30 years. From humble beginnings in the Seery family kitchen, we have grown to the company we are today, operating from a custom built facility in the Carlow countryside.
