How to Use

  • Remove any excess fat from the pork belly.
  • Rub the cure mixture onto the surface of the pork belly, making sure to coat it evenly.
  • Place the pork belly in the curing bag and seal it.
  • Leave the pork belly in the fridge for 7 days, turning it over every day.
  • After 7 days, remove the pork belly from the curing bag and rinse it under cold water.
  • Pat the pork belly dry with a paper towel.
  • Preheat the oven to 200°C / 180°C fan / Gas Mark 6.
  • Place the pork belly in a roasting tin and roast in the oven for 25-30 minutes.
  • Once the bacon is cooked, remove it from the oven and allow it to rest for a few minutes before serving.
