Matthew Walker's Luxury Christmas Pudding is made of 13 core ingredients which represent Jesus and his twelve apostles. Traditionally, Christmas Puddings are prepared in British households on or around Advent. As the pudding is prepared, everyone in the household, including children, make a wish as they stir the mixture.

Plum Pudding is a steamed or boiled pudding. It is made by combining nutmegs, raisins, nuts, apples, cinnamon, dates, and many other ingredients to a batter. You'll notice plums are not listed. The pre-Victorians used the word "plums" as a term for raisins. More like a cake, plum pudding has also been called plum duff. It has to be quite a treat for it to have been outlawed during the Puritan reign in England because it was considered "sinfully rich".
