In simple terms it is a sugar candy bar that is flavored with mint….in reality it is a tasty candy bar that is sought after by Hill Walkers, Mountaineers and other endurance athletes. It is made from Sugar, Glucose, Fondant, Peppermint Oil and a small amount of Salt!
Quiggins have been producing superior Kendal mint cake since 1880.
The recipe is a closely guarded secret and the ingredients are mixed in large copper pans.
Though very popular with hikers, thankfully you do not have to be a hiker to enjoy this delectable minty treat!
